Neal Livingston is also a visual artist and photographer. Since 2002 Livingston's work has been exhibited in ten galleries, five one-person, and five group shows. Neal Livingston's photo works are held in several private collections. Some of his early works from the late 1980's are held by the Canadian Museum Of Contemporary Photography in Ottawa.

Art works of Neal Livingston can be purchased directly from him. To facilitate this since 2005 Livingston has had a showroom near his home on Cape Breton Island for exhibiting his photo works, and selling his art works. It is open for viewing by appointment only.
